Difficulty Accessing the EDGT Tutorials and Tests:
This is often due to a pop-up blocker. See the information about pop-up blockers in the section entitled "Difficulty Logging into the EDGT Web Site."
Getting an Error Message While Using the Tutorials or Tests
If you close the background window in the EDGT web site, the one that lists the tutorials and tests, then you will be logged out of the system and will get an error message about not having an EDGT account. Make sure you do not close any of the EDGT windows until you are finished with the EDGT web site.
Difficulty Viewing the EDGT Screens
- Be sure your screen resolution is set to a minimum of 800x600 pixels.
- If you have difficulty viewing the entire screen, do not see any scroll bars, or are having difficulty operating the scroll bars, try maximizing your window by clicking the box to the left of the X on the top bar of your window.
- If you are using a browser such as AOL or MSN, you can minimize this browser and launch Microsoft Internet Explorer. This will increase the size of your browser window and make for easier viewing of the screens in our web site.
- For Internet Explorer you can click View/Full Screen to see more of the web page.
- Try using F11 key to toggle back and forth between full screen and a minimized screen.
- To see some of our screens, you need the Flash Player, which can be downloaded free of charge from www.adobe.com. Click Get Adobe Flash Player on the Adobe web site. It only takes a few minutes for this player to download. We used the Flash program to produce some of our animated screens.
